Since I knew the history surrounding the event the movie was based upon the end was not a surprise. I believe it stayed true to the history books but I had trouble believing that a Colonel (Tom Cruise’s character) issued orders to a general/generals. It seems they took the bits of history on record and ran with it to have enough material for a full length movie.

The last time I went to Atkins
Atkins is most famous for having the sizeable Razorbacks banner hanging from a cliff. There are some nice houses up on that cliff and as I looked at them today I couldn’t help but wonder how or why someone with the means to afford it would live in such a podunk little town. But I’m sure the view from up there is beautiful!
A story about "chocolate mousse pie"
My wife made chocolate mousse pie with our Christmas dinner this year and it was absolutely delicious!
A story about "Prime Rib Roast"
Prime rib has become a Christmas dinner tradition in my house. Delicious!

Why I recommend "The Last Sucker"
I love this album! In my opinion Ministry really hasn’t been worth much since the Psalm 69 album. Great album for the band to call it quits on.
The last time I went to The Broadmoor
What a beautiful hotel. It’s the Guilded Age captured in time. I had a blast just wandering around the place and looking at the intricate artwork on the ceilings – and checking out all the bathrooms! My room had period furniture. We went ice skating and took a balloon ride, plus the restaurants were excellent!
Beautiful city!
San Francisco must be one of the most beautiful cities on Earth. I’ll never forget the view from across the bay above the Golden Gate Bridge. The city is so unique with the ridiculous hills, the fish market, the museums, and its so easy to get around on BART!
Why I want to go to Tibet
I’d like to see the palace in Lhasa. I’ve been fascinated by Tibet since studying Buddhism in college. I was amazed how the Tibetan Buddhists made the sand sculptures from their minds, and then when it was done, just poured the sand away. I actually saw this done at the Denver Art Museum – or was it commemorating the opening of the Denver Public Library?
